Installing on WordPress

Everything happens inside the WordPress admin and the monoshiri AI admin. No code editing required.

Get the embed code from monoshiri AI

Open your widget in the monoshiri AI admin and copy the code from the "Embed code" section. Add your WordPress site URL (e.g. example.com) to the allowed domains.

Install the "monoshiri AI Widget" plugin

WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New, search for "monoshiri AI" and install. The plugin is being prepared for WordPress.org release - for now, use the manual ZIP installation described below.

Activate the plugin

Activate "monoshiri AI Widget" from the plugins list. A new "monoshiri AI" item appears in the left sidebar.

Paste the embed code and save

Open "monoshiri AI" from the left sidebar, paste the embed code you copied in step 1, and save. You can also choose where to display the widget (all pages / homepage only / specific pages).

Alternative: install manually via ZIP

While we're preparing for WordPress.org release, you can install the plugin directly from a ZIP file.

1. Download monoshiri-ai-widget.zip from the monoshiri AI download page
2. WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → "Upload Plugin"
3. Choose the ZIP file → Install Now → Activate

Verify the install

Open your WordPress site and check that the chat button appears in the bottom right. If it doesn't appear, confirm the embed code was saved correctly in the plugin settings and that your WordPress site URL is included in the allowed domains in monoshiri AI.

WordPress 6.0 and later are supported. Tested with the latest WordPress 6.9. PHP 7.4 or higher is required.
Yes, it works regardless of editor. The plugin outputs JavaScript in the site footer, so it is independent of the post editor choice.
Currently, the WordPress.com Free and Personal plans do not allow JavaScript embedding. Please use WordPress.com Business or higher, or self-hosted WordPress.org.
The WordPress plugin itself is free. However, you need a Light plan (2,980 JPY/month) or higher on monoshiri.ai to use the chat widget.
Technically yes, but multiple chat buttons stacking in the bottom-right corner hurts UX. You can change the button position to bottom-left to avoid this.
No. AMP plugins restrict external scripts by spec, so the widget will not display on AMP pages. It only displays on standard pages.
